Are you an ambitious and results-driven individual with a passion for driving business growth? We are looking for a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our B2B Demand Generation Agency and help us expand our client base. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting new business opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and Prospect: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients in the B2B space who could benefit from our demand generation services. Utilize various channels such as networking events, social media, email outreach, and cold-calling to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Consultation: Engage with prospective clients to understand their specific business needs, challenges, and goals. Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and present tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
- Solution Selling: Articulate the unique value proposition of our demand generation services and the benefits it brings to potential clients. Demonstrate a deep understanding of our agency’s offerings and how they address industry pain points to drive lead generation and revenue growth.
- Customized Proposals: Develop compelling and customized proposals, showcasing our capabilities, expertise, and the expected return on investment (ROI) for the client. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and strategy, to craft proposals that are aligned with client objectives.
- Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and contracts with potential clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Work closely with the sales management team to finalize deals and close sales successfully.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their evolving needs and continuously identifying opportunities to upsell and expand the scope of our services.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to B2B demand generation. Leverage this knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM systems. Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts for management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 1-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in demand generation, lead generation, or marketing services.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and manage time effectively.
- A strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Preferred: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Marketing/Mass
